Tonnes of responsibility

SSAB ships nearly 7 million tonnes of high strength steel to their clients across the globe every year. The Steel Prize is a way to inspire and share knowledge about using it to develop stronger, lighter and more sustainable products.

The proverbial box

The prize is awarded to the company with the most groundbreaking use of high strength steel. This inspired the theme for the year’s event – courage to break the proverbial box.

The main event titles show how a spark of inspiration when manifested can not only break the box, but full-on shatter it. Shockwaves and all.

 
 
 
 

Raddison Purple

SSAB took over the Raddison Blu Waterfront hotel in Stockholm for the event, kitting out the whole venue with purple lights and artwork from a suite of assets.

Pamphlets, leaflets, banners, decorative shards, large glowing boxes (unshattered), and plenty of humongous screens.
